Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 January 2026.

1. General provisions

This Policy describes how the personal data of users of the TonMeet dating service (hereinafter — the Service), available via the tonmeet.com website, the Telegram Mini App and the app for the MAX messenger, is processed. By using the Service, you confirm that you have read the terms of this Policy and accept them.

This Policy is drawn up in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 "On Personal Data" and other regulations of the Russian Federation.

2. What data we collect

  • Identifiers. Telegram ID, MAX ID, and the email address you provided at sign-up.
  • Profile. Name, date of birth, gender, who you are looking for, city, photos and videos, voice intro, your "about me" text, interests and facts.
  • Location. The coordinates you share when you turn on the "detect my location" feature, or the city you pick manually.
  • Activity. Swipes, likes, matches, messages, letters, reports, and the history of confirmed meetups.
  • Sign-in methods. Telegram and MAX identifiers if you signed in through a messenger, and the link between them once you merge those channels into one profile.
  • Technical data. IP address, device type, browser version, session identifier, interface language, timestamps.

3. Purposes of processing

  • providing the dating service: showing profiles, likes, matches, messaging;
  • keeping the Service secure and fighting fake accounts;
  • sending service notifications (new match, new message, account recovery);
  • aggregated analytics to improve the product;
  • complying with the requirements of Russian law.

4. Storage and protection

Passwords are stored as irreversible hashes and connections to the Service are protected with TLS. Access to your profile can be limited in the settings.

5. Sharing with third parties

The Service does not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except when:

  • sending the data required for the sign-in method you chose to work (Telegram, MAX);
  • data is passed to Telegram, MAX and payment systems to carry out operations you requested;
  • data is provided to competent authorities upon a justified request.

6. Your rights

  • request a copy of your data;
  • correct inaccurate data in the "Profile" section;
  • delete your account and all data associated with it through the settings or by sending a request to support;
  • withdraw your consent to processing — this automatically results in your account being deleted.

7. Retention period

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. After your account is deleted, the core personal data is erased within 30 days; anonymised aggregates may be kept for statistics.

8. Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies for session authentication and CSRF protection, as well as the Yandex.Metrica and Google Analytics services for aggregated analytics. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings.

9. User age

The Service is intended only for people over 18. By signing up, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
