TonMeet launches in Brazil: dating built around real meetings

The app is live on the Brazilian market. At TonMeet the headline metric is not likes — it is confirmed offline meetings.

TonMeet is now live in Brazil. We built a dating app around a single idea: the value of the service is measured by the meetings that actually happen, not by the number of likes.

The feed shows people nearby — the directory covers 70 cities, from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to smaller towns. A mutual like opens the chat, and that is where the whole point begins: the two of you pick a date and a place right in the conversation. The app sends a reminder a day before and again an hour before; at the venue you simply scan each other's QR codes — the meeting is credited to both of you and the counter appears on your profile.

You can use TonMeet from the website or from the mini apps in Telegram and MAX. Sign in with Telegram, with MAX or by e-mail; all of those channels can be linked to a single profile.

A profile with photos and a voice card, the feed of people nearby, likes and matches, chat, letters, gifts, a premium subscription and a TON wallet for paid meetings are available from day one.

From chatting to a confirmed meetup. Arrange the date right in the chat — we remind you a day before and an hour before, and the QR code at the meetup counts it for both of you. Sign up
